There’s a hidden coupon that makes this Cyber Monday smartwatch deal even sweeter

This story is part of Digital Trends' Cyber Monday coverage 2024

I often hear complaints about battery life being too short on a smartwatch, but there is a solution to the issue, and the model in question happens to be my pick of the wearable deals out there this Cyber Monday. The smartwatch is the Mobvoi Ticwatch Pro 5, and I’ve easily stretched the battery life out to four days on a single charge with all the health tech active. Use the smartwatch’s extended battery mode, and it will continue working for weeks.

Now that I’ve got your attention regarding the battery life, I have some great news on your choice of model and the price, should you decide to buy one. Mobvoi has discounted all its current smartwatches for Cyber Monday on Amazon, and because they’re variations on the same theme, you have a choice of styles without sacrificing features or the brilliant battery life. This is because they all share the same dual-screen technology, with the primary OLED showing Google’s Wear OS and the secondary LCD taking care of the ambient display. It’s a clever system that maximizes battery life.

The Ticwatch Pro 5 is the original model and the least expensive version available. Previously $350, it’s $210 right now for Cyber Monday, but there’s an easily missed coupon option that discounts the smartwatch by a further $35 — meaning it’ll cost you $185 when you check out. Make sure to tick the coupon box; otherwise, you’ll miss out on this superb price. You can choose between the black or the Sandstone color, or if you have a little more change in your pocket and want a subtly different design, you can take a look at the Enduro model instead.

Mobvoi released the Ticwatch Pro 5 Enduro model a few months after the Pro 5, with the big upgrade being sapphire crystal over the screen, along with a few design changes. It is available for $245 or $210 after you apply the $35 off coupon, down from $350. Most recently, Mobvoi launched the Ticwatch Atlas, another redesign of the original Ticwatch Pro 5, but this time with Wear OS 4 already installed and a selection of some new health-related software features to go with it. The Ticwatch Atlas in black or silver is yours for $280 or $245, provided you use the special coupon, down from the usual $350 price.

All this means that you can have a smartwatch with sensible battery life, the fastest current Qualcomm processor for wearables, a very clever dual-screen system that works really well, and a choice of three different styles and colors to suit your taste. Even if you spend $245 on the Ticwatch Atlas, it’s a great deal, but it is a real steal if you choose the original Ticwatch Pro 5 for $185. I’ve worn and used all three, and my pick would be the Ticwatch Pro 5 Enduro for its sleeker case and design, but in the lovely Slate color with its polished bezel.

Samsung just blurted out the Galaxy S25 Edge’s ‘official’ pricing and storage options
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge dual camera array

Samsung has been quite a tease with its upcoming razor-thin (only, figuratively!) phone, first showcasing it at the Unpacked event back in January. Since then, the barrage of leaks has been let loose, giving us practically every piece of information -- though mostly unverified -- about Galaxy S25 Edge. Although the Edge was set to launch in mid-April, it was pushed ahead by a few weeks, with the latest rumor pointing at a May 13 announcement in Korea. Just a day after we learned that, we have learned about the Galaxy S25 Edge's official pricing and storage options, and the leak comes not from a third party but Samsung itself.

Samsung's Canadian website briefly listed the prices of the 256GB and 521GB variants of the Galaxy S25 Edge as part of a promotion for the recently launched Galaxy S10FE tablets. The webpage, as captured by trusted leaker Roland Quandt, shows what could possibly be the official MSRP of the upcoming slim phone. Quandt shared the screenshot on Bluesky, a social media platform built to replicate what Twitter used to be before Elon Musk bought it and rebranded it to X.

OnePlus 13T: Everything you need to know
OnePlus 13T

After a long wait filled with leaks and rumors, the OnePlus 13T has officially made its debut in China. It's a smaller, more compact alternative to the main OnePlus 13 lineup, and despite initial guesses, it's called the 13T — not the OnePlus 13 Mini. It's a smaller phone for those that prefer subtle devices over pocket-busters, but that doesn't mean it lacks power.

Unlike devices like the now-defunct iPhone Mini, the OnePlus 13T doesn't sacrifice power for size. It's currently only available in China, but there is hope for a global launch. Here's everything you need to know about the latest handheld from OnePlus.

Gemini AI is coming to cars, wearables, and more this year, Google confirms
Android Auto in a car.

Google's Gemini AI has been a hit with phone users, with the chatbot offering the ability to answer complex questions, provide information in bullet points, and giving the option to export answers to a Doc file. Other features include the ability to analyze files, interact with the phone's camera to give information about what you're looking at, and other assistant-like functions which put it ahead of Apple's Siri. It's been out as an app for Android and iOS devices for a while now, and will also be coming to Google TV.

Now, Google has confirmed that people will be able to use Gemini on a wider variety of devices, as it will be coming to Android Auto, wearables, and more. It will be rolling out to these devices later this year, Google announced.
