Trump is the only president to be impeached twice. And had more bipartisan votes for conviction than any president in US history. In fact more people from the same party to vote against the party of their president in US history.

Come on....no one really expected tRump to be charged and especially when a vast gaggle of the jurors are rusted on supporters of tRump, they had made their minds up to acquit before the vote was held, just like they did in tRump's first trial.

Repubs....or should I say, tRump supporters, you can have one glass of celebratory champagne...but now it's time for Georgia's state governor to look into potential election fraud where tRump asked them to find 11,000 votes.

Then after Georgia it will be New York's turn.

Oh and don't forget the almost 1 billion dollar debt that's coming due in the next few months...

And just to add to tRump's woes is his possible eviction from Mar-a -lago.

And the thing is there are going to be lots and lots of witnesses as the court cases wind their way through and lots and lots of evidence coming out. The will be re-convicting Republicans all the way to 2022.

The Democrats had a chance to bring witnesses that could have been sworn and given accounts of the orange man's actions during the insurrection, but they backed off.

 

Even though it wasn’t a legal trial?

The left’s zealots seem to forget the constitution, it is the law of the land. Those chiming in from other country’s haven’t got a clue about law in the US.

There is little doubt that charges will be sought in criminal court, but first the prosecution must convince a grand jury, then they must convince a trial jury, both of which require hard evidence. Odds are they will fail.

Then there are suits in civil court, where the rules of evidence are weaker, here is the best chance for those seeking vengeance to prevail. But, it is unlikely to be concluded in Trumps lifetime.

 

There is nothing Trump enjoys better than a good fight.
