How long is Visions of Mana?

If your main goal is to simply roll credits on Visions of Mana without dipping your toes into much of its optional content, you can wrap up the main story in around 30 hours or so. Of course, if you’re playing on the game’s hardest difficulty, you may find that it adds some additional time to your playthrough.

But there’s a staggering amount of additional stuff to do in Visions of Mana that can add many hours of playtime to your experience, including tons of sidequests and optional challenges — not to mention a lengthy trophy/achievement list that asks you to work through a variety of miscellaneous tasks. As such, completionists can expect to spend 60 to 70 hours clearing everything Visions of Mana has to offer.

How to spot Crypt Devourers in The First Berserker: Khazan
Khazan looks at a mimic

As you navigate the challenging world of The First Berserker: Khazan, you'll spend a significant amount of time checking every nook and cranny for sweet loot. There's plenty of it to find, too. But as with almost every Soulslike game, some of The First Berserker: Khazan's loot is sporting a trap! While not technically a mimic, there are some scary things lying in wait for you as you pick up loot throughout the game's levels, and failing to recognize them could cost you a huge chunk of health -- or maybe even your life.

Here's how to spot one of these traps and what you can do to save yourself from them.
How to spot a Crypt Devourer in The First Berserker: Khazan
While exploring levels in The First Berserker: Khazan, you'll occasionally see dead bodies that glow red. Interacting with these corpses will normally earn you some Soul Tier Dust and a brief dialogue sequence, but some are housing something dangerous beneath them. When you interact with one of these, you'll be greeted by a giant worm-like creature called a Crypt Devourer, who will grab you, deal damage, then throw you haphazardly onto the ground. In some cases, the throw can even send you into a pack of enemies or off the side of a level where you'll fall to your death.

The best stealth games on PS5
Agent 47 aiming a sniper rifle.

A majority of the best PS5 games have adopted at least one or two elements from stealth games. We have been crouching in bushes in FPS games and quietly assassinating targets in open-world games for years now, and we expect to do a lot more of it in some upcoming PS5 games. Sadly, pure stealth games have become something of a rarity in the modern era. If you're not paying attention, it might seem like the best stealth games of all time are all in the past, but the PS5 has plenty of fantastic stealth experiences hiding in the shadows. We're about to sound the alarm on all the best stealth games you can play on the PS5.

Note: we are only including one game per franchise on this list, but collections are eligible.

Palworld is finally getting one of its most requested features this month
A palworld person sitting at a campfire in Palworld.

You'll finally be able to play Palworld with friends on other platforms later this month. Developer Pocket Pair announced the news on social media earlier today, along with a surprise discount for PlayStation 5 and Steam players — 25% off for a short time. Pocket Pair also hinted at "some little surprises" in the update, though the team didn't give any clue as to what those might be.

Crossplay is easily one of the most requested features in Palworld since its release in early access in 2024. Fans of the game could only play with others on the same platform as themselves, but now anyone — including players on macOS — can join up to build massive bases, fight off the Syndicate, and take down that pesky Menasting.
